The Kars4Kids Vision

Packages for the Holidays
Our volunteers have a great time assembling fun-filled holiday packages that are sent to thousands of Kars4Kids families, making the holiday season a joyous one for them and their children. Edible goodies and other delights await in the beautiful packages that they find on their doorsteps.
Weekend Retreats
Throughout the year, we hold several weekend retreats for the children in our programs. It's an opportunity for them to get together with friends in a warm, upbeat atmosphere. They come back from the exciting weekend in the country refreshed, reinvigorated and ready to throw themselves back into their studies.
Questions about donating a car in DE
The IRS allows you to claim a tax deduction of:
a) The value of your vehicle up to $500. It is up to the donor to determine the fair market value.
b) The amount we sell your vehicle for - if it is more than $500.
Kars4kids is a classified 501(c)(3) charity organization. You can check with your tax advisor or accountant to determine the amount of your benefit. The deduction is of value only if the donor itemizes his or her deductions. For a more detailed overview the IRS publishes a Donors Guide to Car Donation.
In the following counties, you’ll just need to provide proof of ownership. Just provide a proof of ownership (such as copy of registration or insurance card): Kent, New Castle, Sussex
If you'd prefer you may apply for a new title on your own. Here's how:
A MV213 Form must be completed, please include the tag number and expiration of tag.
Applications for a duplicate title can be made in person at your local DMV office or you can submit all documentation and fees, in certified form, by mail to:
